I am in denial. I just typed the header "Three in Two".
In other words, Ella and Aidan will be three years old in just two short months.
Where has the time gone?
Weren't we just in the craze of three hour feedings around the clock - not eating regular meals like little adults?
Weren't we just watching them learn to crawl and walk - not run, jump, skip and hop like all the other kids?
Weren't we just watching in amazement as they uttered their first coos and then words - not listening to them sing songs, count and spell?
Weren't we just rocking them to sleep and gingerly placing them in their cribs each night - not watching them rambunctiously climb into their own big kid beds?
Weren't we just going through double the diapers - not using the toilet like big kids...wait...hmmm..we still have some work to do in this arena!
The daily life with two, two-year olds has proven to have been some of the longest days, but the fastest years. I always tell people that time seemed to function properly before having Ella & Aidan.
In other words, a day felt like a day, a month felt like a month, and a year felt like a year.
Now, a day feels like a month, a month feels like a year, and a year feels like 15 minutes!
Where, oh where, has the time gone?

Time does fly after that first year. I am sure you have big plans for their 3rd Birthday. -Dana
