We had a wonderful family adventure today! We met the Weltz family at Lazy 5 Ranch – a privately owned exotic animal park with a 3.5 mile safari that you can drive you own car through!
We did a little exploring when we first arrived and chased a few peacocks, hugged a few goats, and admired the huge camels.
After that, it was on to the safari!
We decided to leave Ella and Aidan in their seats, but not strapped in – and they LOVED the freedom! It wasn’t long before they were up front with us, taking turns “driving”!
Aidan was hilarious with the animals – he was fascinated and kept telling the animals to “Come see Aidan!”. He had no fear at all and loved it when they would stick their heads into our car! His absolute favorite was the ostrich that tried to steal his toy!
Ella, on the other hand, gave it a try with her window down, but quickly change her mind as soon as the first animal poked its’ head inside! She screamed and wanted her window up from that moment on. She really disliked the ostriches, but loved the llamas!
My personal favorite - the giraffe!
They had such a great time and it was an amazing day spent with great friends!
