These vests are wonderful (thanks for the recommendation Teresa!) and within minutes had both kids swimming on their own without us having to hold them the entire time. Of course, they are no substitute for actual swim lessons / training and we are still right there within arms reach, but it was wonderful to see them both gain more confidence in themselves as they swam back and forth from us to the edge of the pool and jumped in to our arms over and over (and over and over!)!
