Preschool Halloween Parade

Yesterday morning Ella and Aidan participated in a Halloween parade at their preschool.

We did a dry run of the costumes the night before and Aidan was not too excited to wear his Mickey Mouse costume - in fact, he downright refused. Ella, on the other hand, loved every minute and was less than happy about taking her Minnie Mouse dress and ears off for bedtime!

Needless, to say, I was a little worried about how it would go Wednesday morning!

I decided not to put Aidan's full garb on until we got there, hoping that the commotion of all of the other children would distract him a bit. It worked!

Well, that and his loving sister who noticed his hesitation and grabbed his hand for reassurance....

....gave him a big hug....

....and proceeded to hold his hand throughout the entire parade!

After the parade the kids all enjoyed snacks and got to pick out a pumpkin to take home. What a wonderful morning spent with their preschool friends!
