Friday is Gymnastics Day!

Ella and Aidan have been attending a gymnastics class at the YMCA for a few weeks now, and I finally managed to get a few pictures taken of them in action.  I am normally alone with the kids during class, so needless to say, it is hectic enough just trying to keep them somewhat close together in the huge gymnastics facility. Never mind taking any pictures!

But today, Mike was able to join us! I know that some of my friends out there may get upset with me saying this, but keeping up with just one toddler is a piece of cake! I was able to take lots of pictures and even some video. What a treat to simply focus on one child and to temporarily close the eyes in the back of my head that are always on the lookout for the other child.

We had a blast.  As usual, Aidan spent most of his time on the trampoline, while Ella made the rounds of the entire building.

They love this class, and it is a wonderful, fun-filled hour each Friday morning!

At the end of class, they sing songs in "circle time" and each child gets a stamp on their hand - Ella and Aidan LOVE this part of class and are always eager to get their stamp!

They love to look at the stamp and figure out what it is each week.
