Thanksgiving Weekend

I apologize for the tardiness of this post - but with sick toddlers, life has been a bit hectic around here these days!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with the family! Christopher and his wife Emily came into town, along with Opa and Grandma Suzy. Ella and Aidan had so much fun playing with everyone!

Since Mike had to work on Thanksgiving day, we celebrated on Friday instead.

We spent Thursday hanging out around the house and going for a nice long walk on a local greenway. In all reality, we didn't really make it that far down the trail. With Ella and Aidan, we tend to make it about three steps forward and 25 steps to the side and off of the pathway!

On Friday we had a wonderful Thanksgiving meal and took another nice long walk down to the park within our neighborhood. Ella LOVED her dinner and ate lots of turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes and even some of Opa's red cabbage! Aidan, well, he is our pickier eater and would only eat a few bites of stuffing and sweet potatoes.

They did; however, both love the pumpkin pie!! Ella still keeps asking for more pie! She has the cutest little southern twang when she says pie!

It was nice to be able to spend some quality time with the family, not to mention having a few extra hands around to play with the munchkins!
