We enjoyed a fabulous day of celebration at Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia.
My sweet, handsome little man....
....and my sassy, gorgeous little lady....
We visited all of the animals, but there were a few favorites along the way. Mike didn't really seem to have anything in particular that he was nuts about, but for me, (aside from my all time favorite, the giraffe), it was the koala and the gorilla....
For Lauren, the pony....
For Aidan, the ostrich....
For Ella, the giraffe....
We even managed to feed the sweet giraffes....
Despite the individual preferences, a group favorite was the carousel and the train ride....
When each given additional tokens, Aidan decided to ride the train by himself, while Ella opted for a pony ride....
Once arriving home, and after a fun birthday dinner at Kabuto (their favorite restaurant) with Grandmommy and Grandaddy, we came home for cake.
Aidan had his request - a Transformers cake....
....and Ella enjoyed her special request - a princess cake....
What a fun day spent celebrating five years of love with our two amazing little people!
