I had my first real adventure yesterday with all three little ones! We ventured to Discovery Place Kids for the morning with our friends from preschool - Adams and Henry, Kayla, Tom, and our new classmate Jack.
What a fantastic place! It is a little crazy with all of the kids running around, but this place had everything imaginary and pretend play for the kiddos - from a grocery store, restaurant and Dr office to a firetruck, an airplane, a boat and a tractor.
Ella and Aidan have been chatting about it non-stop and are begging to go back again soon!
The kids all had a wonderful time and we even braved taking everyone to Lupie's Cafe across the street for lunch (well, that was pretty much mayhem considering that 4 of us Moms also had young ones in strollers - one of them another set of twins!).

Family Fun
We all had a different variation of family fun over the past few days...
On Sunday morning, we all enjoyed a bagel breakfast, and then with big alligator tears, I sent Ella and Aidan off with Mike to head to Highlands to spend a few nights up in the mountains with Opa.
They decided to take the scenic route, yet as predicted, there was a small amount of boredom in the backseat....
....once they had lunch, it was off to to a local waterfall....
..... and the fun continued the next day with Ella and Aidan going fishing for the first time, where Ella caught the first fish, and Aidan caught the largest fish. Apparently, Ella was terrified of the fish once it was out of the water and flopping around, hence Opa holding the rod and her holding on to Opa....
.....after a quick stop at an overlook....
....it was off to feed the ducks....
....the day was capped off with a long evening swim and a fish dinner!
Mike, Opa and the kids had tons of fun - what an amazing trip!
I spent my free time by having lunch on Sunday with my dear friend Amy. Lauren was an angel and slept the entire time, looking adorable in her little outfit with the big bow....
Much to my surprise, at about 5 PM Sunday evening the doorbell rang and Grandma Shushi was at the front door - having come to spend a few nights with Lauren and I!
Sunday evening we had a wonderful rainstorm, so we spent over an hour just sitting and rocking on the front porch....
Monday we enjoyed a nice lunch out at The Village Tavern....
....before spending the rest of the day relaxing at home and watching movies....
....Tuesday found us out to lunch again....
....before Grandma Shushi had to leave to head back to Atlanta.
Even though we were apart as a family, we spent some wonderful, quality family time with Opa and Grandma Shushi and had a fantastic few days!

One
Lauren is one month old today!
Weight: 10 pounds 4 ounces (80%)
Height: 22.5 inches (93%)
Head: 14 3/4 inches (50%)
She is growing well, despite the fact that she is constantly screaming and crying. Literally - if she is not asleep, 99.9 % of the time she is crying.
So, she is now on reflux medication (like Ella was) and has been switched to a hypoallergenic formula (wicked expensive!). So far, nothing seems to help.
She eats every two hours around the clock - I have desperately tried getting her to go to at least three hours to no avail. I tried upping her to 4 ounces in each feeding, but that failed and most of the time she would still only eat 3 of the ounces, so in an effort not to waste the liquid gold known as Alimentum, we are back to 3 ounces.
She even cries while she eats, which led me to having her tested for a possible milk allergy. She has been tested twice, but is not allergic at all - but the pediatrician suggested the special formula anyway, because....well, you just never know what may help!
Thus we are left with an official diagnosis - colic.
Wish us patience (and lots of wine) to get through the next few months until she grows out of the colic stage!
